Crysler
The Village of Crysler is nestled on the banks of the South Nation River in the Township of North Stormont, of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
Within the Township, there is a strong agricultural presence, which especially thrives in the Dairy Industry. The Village boasts an excellent standard of living within an easy commute to both the cities of Ottawa and Cornwall. Throughout the year, the Village is alive with festivals and community spirit. Crysler allows individuals and families to have an opportunity to grow in a setting that encourages the priorities of a friendly and caring community. This has resulted in a welcoming place to call home.

The Village is named after it’s first settler, Colonel John Crysler, a United Empire Loyalist and Member of the Legislative Assembly of Upper Canada, (1808 – 1824). Colonel Crysler moved into the area which is now Crysler in the late 1830’s. The Colonel, his son John Pliney, and other family members played a significant role in shaping the territorial, political and economical structure of Upper Canada.

Russell
Russell is a charming village located on the Castor River, just on the outer boundary of the City of Ottawa. With speedy access to the busy city, traveling to Ottawa for work or special interest is easy on the adjacent 417 Highway. Russell has succeeded in keeping a definite small town charm, while being fully functional, with many services and businesses right in the town or in immediately adjacent towns. Russell is home to a many service clubs, sport associations and a rich agricultural heritage.

Embrun
Embrun, located 5 minutes East of Russell Village is the hub of the Township. Here among quietly nestled residential communities, you can also find large stores, small town stops and municipal services. With a rich Franco-Ontarian heritage and a historic agricultural industry- Embrun is full of interesting characters, flavours and destinations. With Speedy access to Highway 417, the outside world is not far away- yet the local living is more than you expected!
